Joy Behar Challenges Trump To Try And Mess With ‘The View’: “We Have This Show Every Day, OK Donald?”

Joy Behar had some choice words for Donald Trump on this morning’s episode of The View, challenging the one-term POTUS to just try and mess with her and the other women of the Hot Topics table.

Behar’s dare came during a discussion about Trump’s plans for “revenge” in 2024 if he wins a second term in the White House.

After playing a clip of Trump’s Nov. 9 Univison interview — in which he utters the phrase “they let the genie out of the box” — Behar couldn’t help but get in a dig at Trump’s intelligence.

“I thought the genie was in a bottle. When did it get in a box? He’s losing it,” she said.

Alyssa Farah Griffin skipped the jokes and went right to criticism, warning about her former boss’ likely plans for 2024 and beyond.

“Donald Trump is running for president for two reasons: to stay out of jail and to get revenge on his enemies. When he speaks, we should listen, and frankly, it’s scary,” Griffin, who worked in the Trump White House from 2019 to 2020, said. “He’s already said he’s going to come after people like General John Kelly, my former boss Chairman Mark Milley, people who dared take a stand against him, Mike Pence.”

Sunny Hostin chimed in to add journalists to the list of Trump’s enemies, while Behar had another suggestion: “Us,” she exclaimed. “What about us?”

As Griffin tried to continue, beginning to say, “There’s a really interesting—” Behar seized the opportunity to speak directly to Trump. As the camera swiveled to focus on her instead of Griffin, Behar looked right into the lens to deliver a message to Trump.

“Try it, go ahead,” she said confidently, throwing her hands up to emphasize her point. “Try it. We have this show every day, OK, Donald?”

And there you have it: if you want to mess with The View, you’ll have to get past Behar first.
