Believe it or not, it’s been nearly a whole decade since Breaking Bad finished airing on AMC. Back in 2013, the crime drama finished its five-season run on the network, and the series has so many accolades, it’s not even funny: Emmy awards, Golden Globes, Peabody Awards, Critics’ Choice Awards, and more. The saga has even gone down in Guinness World Record history as the most critically acclaimed show of all time. You can’t say that about just any show! But if you’re looking for another series similar to Breaking Bad, we have options.

Breaking Bad already has a prequel series, Better Call Saul, and the series even has a 2019 feature-length movie called El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie. Those may be good places to start if you’re a diehard Breaking Bad fan on the hunt for some more. But if you’ve already steamed full-speed ahead through those two, we’ve also came prepared with a bevy of shows akin to Breaking Bad. They may not have Walter White (Bryan Cranston), but we hope you’ll enjoy them just as much.

We’ve got series on Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max, and more — here are seven shows just like Breaking Bad:

Better Call Saul is the prequel series to Breaking Bad, and it’s just as critically acclaimed as its predecessor. The series follows Saul Goodman a.k.a. Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk), the pro attorney for meth dealer Walter White. He wasn’t always an expert, though — this series unfurls as Saul is finding his footing in the legal world. Saul always roots for his lower-income clients, getting help from private eye Mike Ehrmantraut, who helps him fix all of the sticky situations into which he accidentally finds himself.

Queen of the South is another high crime series, but instead of Odenkirk’s Walter White at the helm, Alice Braga’s Teresa Mendoza takes the wheel. Teresa is the girlfriend of a prominent drug lord. While she continues to hope and pray that their love will rise above the danger and endless work hours, her boyfriend is murdered. She’s left to her own devices, which she handles pretty well. So well, in fact, that she simply takes over for her late boyfriend, running the cartel on her own.

Just like Breaking BadThe Wire is a crime drama — though from every perspective. The Wire never hesitates to show the point of view of the criminals, drug lords, and journalists involved, as well as the police. The hit HBO drama displayed Baltimore in a new light, highlighting several facets including the bureaucracy, schools, and news media. David Simon’s series was nominated for a handful of awards from the Emmys, the Television Critics Association, and more.

Sons of Anarchy is a dark crime drama following a motorcycle gang. Specifically, the show is about Jax Teller, a single father who frequently finds himself questioning his allegiance to the gang when their lawlessness becomes nearly too unbearable to abide by. While the club protects and controls the area, keeping drug dealers out of business, their activities soon spawn an illegal arms business. Sounds like a lot of undercover work, just like Breaking Bad!

Crime anthology series Fargo may be up your alley if you loved series like Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. The show is a spinoff of the classic Coen Brothers film Fargo, following small towns across the Midwest that are buried in so, so much crime and punishment. The most recent season of Fargo starred Chris Rock in a sprawling mob drama storyline, introducing two feuding gangs in the area.
