Ariana Madix “Wouldn’t Be Surprised” If ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Fans “Hate” Her And “Develop A Soft Spot” For Tom Sandoval When Season 11 Airs

The world rallied around Ariana Madix earlier this year after it was revealed that Tom Sandoval had cheated on her. However, the Vanderpump Rules star is preparing for fair-weather fans to turn on her when Season 11 begins airing in January.

Madix quickly became reality TV’s sweetheart after she uncovered Sandoval’s months-long affair with their mutual close friend Rachel “Raquel” Leviss back in March, marking the end of their nine-year relationship. Since then, she has nabbed plenty of sponsorships, landed a gig on Love Island USA, and has been earning high scores every week on Dancing with the Stars.

In light of the Vanderpump Rules Season 11 teaser, which was officially dropped at BravoCon earlier this month, one fan speculated that the tables will eventually turn on Madix.

“Mark my words, everyone’s gonna hate Ariana this season, and develop a soft spot for Tom,” the Instagram user wrote, to which Madix commented back, “certainly wouldn’t be surprised if the audience swings that way.”

It’s unclear why Madix — who accuses Sandoval in the trailer of ruining her life and attempting to kill her dog — would anticipate such a change of heart. However, she did previously tease that her ex-boyfriend will likely spend much of his screen time “trashing” her and their relationship in order to gain sympathy.

“To make it very clear: he and I do not film together, I have not forgiven him, we are not cool, that has not changed at all,” Madix said on an August episode of  Scheana Shay‘s Scheananigans podcast. “But I know that he will spend probably every single episode trashing me and our relationship because … it serves him in some way to do that.”

She continued, “It’s really upsetting because if anybody’s able to trash anyone in the situation it should be me because I was done dirty and I did not do him dirty whatsoever.”

It looks like only time will tell what’s to come on this next season of Vanderpump Rules!
