‘Return to Halloweentown’
Here’s my controversial opinion: Return to Halloweentown is not the worst Halloweentown movie. Yes, I know Disney swapped out Kimberly J. Brown for Sara Paxton as Marnie — but the story is still fun, exciting, and, most importantly, full of magic. As the fourth and final installment in the franchise, Return to Halloweentown follows Marnie and Dylan to college at Witch University, where they are faced with a power-hungry administration, a secret family history, and an evil centuries-old prophecy that they must destroy once and for all. While Brown is certainly missed, going back to Halloweentown for the first time since its first sequel (Halloweentown High took place solely in the mortal world) allowed the beloved franchise to end on a high note.
